Contractor Induction & Training Checklist

Confirms that the undersigned driver or contractor has completed induction into Mercury Travel's Safety Management System (SMS) and agrees to comply with all requirements while providing services.

Mercury Travel Alcohol & Drug Policy

Zero alcohol consumption is permitted while guiding, driving, on the road, tracks, or during any activities.
Alcohol is permitted only during dinner or at the end of the working day, provided it does not impair performance the following day.
Zero tolerance for non-prescription drug use. Only prescribed medications and approved supplements are allowed (must be disclosed if they may affect performance).

Additional requirements

Contractor agrees to work daily with Ravit at the beginning and end of each day, including completion of all required safety management documentation via the Travelkey app.
Current First Aid qualification must be provided and sighted by Mercury Travel.

Contractor declaration

I confirm that I have received induction into Mercury Travel's Safety Management System, understand all requirements (including those for DOC land operations, pre/during/post-tour guidelines, daily checks with Ravit, and use of the Travelkey app), and agree to fully implement and adhere to them.I confirm that I hold a current First Aid qualification and agree to comply with the Mercury Travel Alcohol & Drug Policy at all times.

Mercury Travel certification

Annual refresher requirement

Contractor will participate in annual SMS refresher training (WorkSafe requirement) or when significant changes occur. This agreement will be reviewed annually or following changes to operations, legislation or the SMS. Approved by Mark Abraham — 16/12/2025.
